This quote describes Mrs. Turner. Often Tea Cake makes fun of her shape. Although Mrs. Turner was African American she described other African Americans as if they were animals. She made it seem like she was so much better than the other African Americans. Mrs. Turner had the attitude and hips of an African American women. Tea Cake said that she had been shaped by an cow that was kicking her from behind. Mrs. Turner had an confident attitude about who she was.
