Who did Amir have to fight in order to get Sohrab? Why?
Amir fought one of the leaders of the milltary. He fought him because thats what he had to do in order to get sohrab back. At first sohrab didnt want to go with Amir then he ended up going with him. After the man jumped on Amir Sohrab grabbed the sling shot and hit the man very hard and thats how they was able to escape.

What promise does Amir break to Sohrab?

Amir breaks the promise of taking Sohrab to america. Sohrab thinks that the people in america will hurt him. Amir says its safe and no one will hurt or harm harm him. Sohrab made him promise and Amir didnt know how he would promise to that but he did and he broke the promise.

What is your reaction to Rahim Khans letter to Amir? Should the letter have been present to him earlier? Do you feel that baba was a good man?


I feel that Baba wasnt a good man to neither Hassan or Amir because he made Hassan his servant and he treated Amir very wrong and diffrently. Amir suffered and yearneed for baba affections. For the letter Rahim Khan sent to amir all i can say is that the truth really came out. everything from the truth and the reasonings to why things happend a certian way came out to me that was a letter of truth.

Journal Entry: Chpts21&22

In chapters 21-22 the cruelty of the Taliban is clearly in evidence.

Two of the talibs took and man and woman with Kalashnikov slung across their shoulders helped the bur qua-clad woman. Two more talibs joined in and helped the same woman into the whole that was dug for her. the tall talib picked up and showed it to the crowd and the crowed grew silent the talib threw the stone at an blind folded man. He stood as stiff as a baseball pitcher pitching a ball. The talib shook his head as the crowd moaned.

" A boy who wont stand up for himself becomes a man who cant stand up to anything".
What does this mean?

I think it means that if you dont learn how to take up for yourself early in life when you get older it might be to late. You learn early so you can know from the back of your head than to wait until your 13 then to me it will be to late to learn what you should have already learned.

What are your reflections on chapters 1-5?


In chapters 1-5 alot happend. People were
mistreated. The story so far is very deep. Hassan talked about
his past childhood. The games him and his friends would play. the
things that happend on certian dates and times. the reason why he wrote poetry and did other things. the story so far is awsome.

How does Amir feel about his father in these chapters?


Amir feels like his father has no time for him. He's always doing something. they didnt have real good relationship. Baba wants Amir to play soccor and Amir doesnt like soccor. Amir like to write poetry and read books. To me they really dont have a bond together.

Yes, It is not impossible for a man to learn what he already knows. In my opion the only thing he can do is learn more about that thing he has already learned.
